The Christmas Portrait...

Last week, Mere, Elizabeth, and I went to the Lights of the Ozarks to see tons of lights, some horses, and a camel. Here's a cute portrait I took of the fam...

Ashley and Dillon...

The owner of Luxe Dermaspa in Rogers contacted me about photographing her children, 11-year-old Ashley and 6-yr-old Dillon. I had been to Luxe before and knew that Village On the Creek (where Luxe is located) was a really pretty place to shoot portraits, as I had photographed an engagement session there before. Her children were so fun and seemed so mature for their age. As a result, their portraits looked really great! Take a peek below...

Gonna be a model someday...

This one is so sweet...

Highlights of Elizabeth...

Everybody, especially my students, always ask to see pictures of my daughter. Below are some of my favorites...

One of her first studio portraits, waving "hi!" to Daddy...

Her FIRST picture ever (a little gruesome, but very cool)...

Outside my studio one day...

One morning before a wedding on the way to Nana's house...

Baby Maddox... what a cutie!

I think you all should see this! My brother recently had a baby boy, Maddox, not named after the famous pitcher of Cubs' stardom. I digress... Anyway, just before I closed my physical studio (don't worry, I can still photograph your and/or your family!) I did one last shoot there as my brother loaded up the car with all my crazy props. These pictures are so, so, SOOO cute! He is such a good looking boy. But then again... he IS a Benfield! Ha ha!

Senior Portrait Photography...

Hey Seniors (and parents of)...
I'm currently booking up my 25 spots for Spring senior portraits. If you want one of these spots, call or email me today. They will go quickly and I don't want you to lose your chance to have your portraits made by us! We've developed our style to fit the tastes of high school seniors who are stylish and have a high fashion sense. Check out some of our latest shoots below.

I LOVE laughing portraits...

maybe you'd like to bring along a friend...

Family Portrait Photography...

Being a parent myself, I've come to notice how quickly time goes by. My daughter is two years old already and I think I've amassed more than 10,000 pictures of her. Funny, I know. But true. I think I only have about 15-20 pictures of me growing up and I often wished I could see more of little me. Elizabeth will never have such a wish. If you want to book me for an outdoor shoot, or a shoot in your home (with my studio equipment), call or email me.

Below are some portraits I made of the Kimbrough family out on their family ranch (that they're selling). They wanted one last portrait taken there of all the families and kids and I was honored to work with them. After the shoot, we hung out there a little bit while I made a few more images that I just love!

My hottie girlfriend... and assistant...

It's been an exciting time for Benfield Photography. I've been focusing more and more on weddings lately and I'm in the slow process of moving my studio to Fayetteville, Arkansas. Why? Well, like most things in life, this choice is based on a girl. If you look at the pics below, you'll see why!

November to Remember...

A couple weeks ago, Meredith and I photographed a wedding in Forsyth, MO. Forsyth is on the outskirts of Branson, MO, so she and I didn't know what to expect. To add to the unknown, it was an outdoor wedding in the middle of November! They must have prayed for sunshine because we showed up that morning welcomed by warm-ish weather with a bright sun. I've posted some of my favorite photos from the day below.
