New Maternity photos...

I recently photographed Courtney again. Her belly was really cute. We had a great time photographing. You can view them on her myspace, as well as others: her myspace

Playing God...

I wrote the following to a friend far away and thought it appropriate for this...

Photoshop has spoiled me. That, and tivo. With tivo, I can watch anything I want, any time I want. I can fastforward through the parts I don't like, and repeat the parts I want to see again. With Photoshop, I can turn ugly things pretty, pretty things ugly, or create something out of nothing. Both examples are, in a small way, playing God. What is frustrating about having any sort of control like that makes you want to be able to do that in real life. I'd love to fastforward or rewind parts of my life, living good times over and over, and deleting the bad ones altogether. I wish I could use a simple tool to fix the blemishes of my life (or just my face... haha). I wish I could clone parts that I like of somebody else and put them in my picture. I feel like I know exactly how to create a perfect life, but don't have the real life control to do so.

Higher education...

During my Tuesday nights at Crowder, we've been covering all aspects of photography. Last week, I introduced them to studio photography, brought some studio equipment, and had a great time photographing. I am really impressed with the work of my college students!

Courtney's special party...

Check out her blog
I have the wonderful pleasure of working with the sweetest girls imaginable. We pick each other up when another is down... we are there to support and care about each other... we treat each other as if we were family. I'm honored to be a part of such a great team!
Today, we threw a party for one of our girls on staff. Here are a couple photographs from the party:
