Martha Marie and Matt tie the knot!

Hey everybody!

One of Meredith's dearest friends was married last weekend. Mere couldn't wait for the day to arrive; I've never seen her so excited and anxious for a wedding! Now, part of this anxiousness might have been because for the first time ever, Mere served as both the wedding photographer AND the wedding singer! She REALLY brought the house down, I've never heard so many people complement her! More on that next week (I MIGHT just have a recording of it!).

The wedding details were full of great summer colors, which we loved! Here are a few of our favorite details! We loved the flowers by Jules design! It seemed like every flat surface was graced with a beautiful arrangement!

This isn't just a getaway car, this is the BRIDE'S car! Martha Marie's pride and joy is her Ford Saleen (a very rare, limited edition, performance car).

The reception was held at the Lewis family farm, the home of the groom's parents.

Cutting into another gorgeous cake by Jennifer at Shelby Lynn's.

The Joe Giles band is one of our local favorites. Joe was a friend of the groom's family so most of the guests were so excited to hear them play!

This car was really just on display for everyone to see. Matt's family has a long history with the Ford company and owns several Ford dealerships in the area. I'm not sure of the year or model, but I can tell you it was in pristine condition! This car proved to be a real photo op, as several people throughout the night were having their picture taken by it! It was beautiful! Mere wanted to make the picture look a little vintage, like the car. I love it!

Congratulations Martha Marie and Matt! Mere and I are so happy for you two! It was such a fun experience shooting your wedding! Martha Marie, thank you for always being such a wonderful friend to Mere! You were a beautiful bride!

Talk to ya soon,
