If you're not a photographer, you can come back tomorrow for pretty pictures because you'll probably find this post quite boring.
If you are a photographer, particularly one that uses a bunch of different labs for different products, you HAVE to read this post.
A couple months ago the Miller's Photo Lab family created what seems to be the PERFECT FIT for me: Mpixpro. What I love about this is that they had me and some other great photographers come to the lab and spend a couple days talking to them about what we wanted to offer our clients - they listened and have delivered. In keeping with the philosophy that all products should be out the lab's door in less than a week, I'm sure it was a struggle to develop products to meet our requests for the products we were hoping for. However, they did it. Once you see the new additions it'll blow your mind that you can get these into your hands with such little lab time!
Oh, here's a picture of our fun and creative group with some of the Miller's peeps (I'm the bald one in the middle - hee hee!):
Okay, back on track... let me show you a couple of the fun new products you can offer your clients:
Gallery Mats (not my image):
Fine Art Metal Mural (my image featured!!):
Fine Art Acrylic (not my image):
Fine Art Metal (my image featured!!)
Folded business cards (my image featured!!)
And then this is my FAVORITE PRODUCT!! Custom printed DVDS - say what?!?!!!!
Okay... I'm not going to post them ALL - there are so many cool products (custom image boxes, stickers, posters, etc.) - you'll have to check the entire catalog.
There are a couple other reasons to use MpixPro: super easy ordering (uses ROES - yes!!!!) and cheap fed-ex shipping. Also, one of my favorite things about MpixPro is that if you offer digital files to your clients, you can actually send them to mpix or zenfolio. Sweetness! No more worrying about your clients printing images at... gulp... Wal-Mart. Hallelujah!
So, photographers... you should sign up here (it's free, yo!): Photographer Registration and start the process of offering great products to your clients! If you need more info on how it works, watch this video.
If you want to hear more, and are in the NY area this week, MpixPro has brought me to Photo Plus to help educate photographers about this great new company that is going to act as a one stop shop for your boutique studio fulfillment needs! Woohoo!!
