Guest Blogger: Nic Howard!

Hey everybody!

What a fun day you get to have. Today, you get to read a post from a super talented friend of mine, Nic Howard, from NILO Productions. He is the shooting and editing genius behind my video that I posted last week on my new website in the about section. If you haven't seen it you should check out my new website here. Then, come back here and see the hilarious outtake video of all my stupid bloopers. (Ellie, if you're reading this, Daddy is sorry for saying "stupid" - love ya girlie!)
Without further adieu, I give you the incomparable Nic Howard!!!!

Let's blog!

Or as Dale likes to say, "Hey everybody!"

What an honor it is to have this opportunity to guest blog...This is my first time guest blogging, so if I stutter and or misspell words- I'm sorry. Just a little nervous.

I'd like to take just a few lines to tell you a little about NILO. My wife, Lori, and I incorporated NILO a little over three years ago after one morning (while ironing) I decided to combine our names like Brad and Angelina (you know...Brangelina). I have been filming weddings for over ten years now, and still to this day I, on average, choke up at least twice while capturing a couple's most special day.

Lori and I consider it part of our ministry to help other couples remember their sacred vows long after they've said "I do." Video is so amazing, and it is a huge blessing to be able to pop in a DVD and relive some of the same feelings that took place during that big day. With that being said, for those brides out there...get a videographer!!! Time is such a tricky thing, and until Doc Brown and Marty McFly figure out how to turn a car into a time machine, video and photography is the only way you will be able to relive those memories. "Great scott," I took more than just a few lines...I'm sorry. Enough about me, let's talk about Dale, or should I say let's make fun of Dale...No I won't do that. (Even though there is plenty of material.) I truly enjoy my friendship with Dale and Meredith! Their knowledge and vision is very inspiring and motivating to me. Their creativity is extremely contagious, and working with them feels like working with family (in the good way) and has been an absolute blast.

And so to segway - below is a fun short clip of Dale messing up as we tried to shoot his latest promo video. Thank you for allowing me to take a minute to talk with you about my biz. Please feel free to hop over to my blog and watch a few videos. So, as my friend Digidy Dale would say...Talk to you soon.
