Marion and Clark tie the knot!

Hey everybody!

I don't think I took a bad picture all day. I'm not saying that to brag, it's just that everybody looked so amazing, the weather was beautiful, the locations were gorgeous... it was just too easy to make wonderful images of Marion and Clark's Newport wedding.

So here we go...

A lot has been said about all the special details of Marion's wedding. But more than just details, wedding days are about MOMENTS.

Here's one of my favorite moments from the day: Just before we photograph their portrait together, Marion and her mother get a little sentimental. Look closely at Marion's eyes and you can see tears forming. Awwwwwww...

And then her father. You KNOW that Daddy/Daughter moments get me!

Okay, enough sappy stuff. A 2011 bride recently asked me if I shoot formal pictures too. Just because I don't blog them doesn't mean I don't shoot them! Here are a couple more laid back portraits I got of the girls, and then of the guys.

And now, it's wedding time! I love the left shot because it shows the dress - the very special dress. And the shot on the right shows the church they were married in. I love that your eyes go back and forth between the couple and Jesus. Isn't that the way it should be? :)

Throw on the telephoto lens for the kiss shot because this one is all about the couple.

Have you ever looked at a bridesmaids' eyes as she is looking at a diamond? It's probably the only thing that ranks above puppies and children. Seriously, have a peak.

The reception was at the Newport Country Club and looked quite amazing. Great lighting and amazing details transformed the space. It was certainly a great backdrop for a first dance as husband and wife.

Okay, so I couldn't just pick one shot of the first dance.

Add in the Memphis Soul Revue and you've got yourself a party!! The dancefloor was packed.

Our friends and 2010 couple Chelsea and Seth were there dancing the night away!

Yay! The Chi-O pics -

Notice her momma right next to her. So precious!

Ah, so funny... notice the difference between women and men. :)

Oh, and even funnier. No words needed.

Marion changed into her mother's rehearsal dinner dress for the leave - one final touch - as they drove off to begin their new life as husband and wife.

Be sure to come back tomorrow for their fabulous portraits!

Talk to you soon,

P.S. Be sure to read Jessica's blog - she knows a lot more about the special details from Marion's wedding. Click here.
