Sweet Adoration: Brooke and Patrick's Wedding Portraits

Hey everybody!

If it were acceptable to have every image I show a client be of Brooke and Patrick, I would. The very best thing about them is that you can see instantly they don't just love each other, they ADORE one another. Yes, they're sweet. Yes, they're gorgeous. But they are so comfortable with each other that it makes photographing them inspiring.

For the next few days, I am going to share Brooke and Patrick's wedding day with you, my lovely blog friends! I can't wait to share their story - it's a sweet one, with lots of amazing images.

For a wedding day that was supposed to be filled with rain, it sure was pretty! I told Geoff, who shot with Meredith and me Saturday at Brooke and Patrick's wedding, that we just get "weather-lucky" - In 12 years of photographing weddings, we've only had a portrait rainout twice.

I'm not saying that if you don't want it to rain on your wedding day book us, but it couldn't hurt. :)

Oh, and speaking of Geoff, check out his blog today to see some images he captured from their wedding.

Now, on with the show.

Rarely do I post my ultimate favorite on the first day, but I can't stand it! You have to see the light in this image (the sun popped out for about 5 minutes and it happened to be during my spontaneously portrait shoot after we left Pulaski Heights Methodist Church and arrived at the Clinton Library for their reception. Okay, that's way too much set-up for this. Check it!

On the way, I had the limo stop at this rose-covered fence - ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!
(also, if that one above wasn't my favorite, this would be!)

And this shot wasn't even supposed to be a portrait... they were just walking in to the Clinton Library for their reception and everything just fell into place perfectly. Oh brother!

Come back tomorrow for DETAILS DETAILS DETAILS!
