": A jumbo jet full of children, crashing every four hours – that's the impact of unsafe water. By the time you've read this, a child has died from a water-related disease – every 20 seconds." Man, if that's not a powerful visualization about how important this cause is, I don't know what is. I pulled this info from the River To Well website, of which I was recently introduced.
A ton of mutual facebook friends brought me in contact with somebody from this organization, and I felt immediately like I should help. I already have a passion for this cause, and I've already given to organizations who drill wells twice this year, totaling nearly a thousand dollars. I don't like talking about money ever, but I do think it's important to explain that the money you give directly impacts real life/death situations for communities (and children in those communities).
Let's do this together! If you enter a photograph in the contest, the entry fee (100%) is donated to the cause. For everyone who shows me that they entered the contest and paid the fee, I'll donate $20, up to $500 (which means we together will have raised $875!!). (email me: firstname.lastname@example.org to show you entered) It'll be great! Let's do it!
Matthew 25:40 - The King will answer and say to them, 'Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.'
