I've noticed a drastic change in our area over the past 5 years. When I first moved to the area, local photographers were, in a word, unwilling. Unwilling to network, unwilling to share, and unwilling to help. It was all about me, me, me, from what I experienced. :(
As Benfield Photography became more successful, I found that photographers wanted to connect with me, to ask me for help, to ask me to share. And you know what? I was HAPPY to do it!
All of that exploded when thebschool.com launched in October of 2008. All of a sudden, photographers from all over the world were able to connect in a new way. More than that, LOCAL photographers were able to connect with each other in a fun and friendly way. I love the [b] school and all it stands for.
Today, the new [b] school launches, and I encourage all professional photographers to join! It's such a great place to learn, connect, and share. Click my link at the top of the blog to head on over. Here's to community!!
