Some Good, Old-Fashioned Encouragement

Hey everybody!

Today's post is two-fold. Neither "fold" has anything to do with photography. More so, it has to do with life.

I believe people are largely in charge of their "destiny." However, so many times in my life, I've put a BOX on a certain dream or a certain goal or a certain idea. I don't know how many times it'll take for me to remember that God has bigger plans for me. Recently, I married a girl who is way cooler than me, way prettier than me, and way funnier than me (and I'm pretty funny). I never dreamed my life would be what it is, especially given my life as a child (not that I didn't love my childhood; it's just that I've been so blessed as an adult). I've been fortunate enough to be able to provide for my family better than I have imagined (i.e. I have the coolest house I've ever lived in), and I have the best job in the world, doing something I sincerely and whole-heartedly love.

So, don't put a ceiling on God's plan for you. Don't put a cap on how happy you can be. And don't put a box on your hopes and your dreams. DREAM BIG.

The other part of this email is a big ol' thank you to YOU. If you're reading my blog, you're either a friend, family member, client (past, present or future), fan, or photographer. Regardless, you are doing your part in helping me succeed. Meredith and I want to thank you with a full heart. We appreciate your comments, feedback, support, fanaticism, and love.

Thank you. Seriously, thank you.

Talk to you soon,
Dale
