I received a touching email from a recent bride and I really wanted to share it with y'all. It reminded me that while Meredith and I love our ability to capture fun and fab portraits, it's the MOMENTS of a wedding that tell the story. (Luckily, we're pretty good at that too)
"My family too has been thru a difficult time in the weeks following the wedding. My grandmother had not been feeling well in the days leading up to the wedding but fortunately was able to power through that day..... until that evening. When she got home from the reception that night she fell and since then has been hospitalized for several days and though now is home needs round the clock care. As a family we have all stepped in. She is getting better slowly but it has been a slow process.
I say all of this to tell you that one of my favorite pics isn't the most impressive but the sweet one where she sees me for the first time and she looks so happy and sooooo beautiful. So thank you for TRULY CAPTURING A MOMENT! For that I say God Bless you and your talent. You both are truly doing what God has called you to do."
The people we love are here for a limited time. Make the most of your moments (and take as many pictures as you can).
Talk to you soon,
