Sherri and Ryan's Northwest Arkansas Wedding, Pt 1

Hey everybody!

I don't know how Sherri did it. For most of the past year, Ryan was thousands of miles away serving our country. But their perseverance paid off on Saturday when they were married at Chapel at the Creeks and had their reception at the UARK Bowl on Dickson in Fayetteville.

Oh yeah... and Sherri lives in Texas! It's not easy to plan a wedding when you're states away! Luckily, she was able to work with some fabulous NW Arkansas vendors, and some of our favorites!

Our friend Jessica Kersey from Finishing Touch Event Design (check her blog soon for more images!) helped make the dream a reality with

The macaroons above and the cake below are from our favorite cake making superstar, Jennifer at Shelby Lynn's Cake Shoppe. The amazing and dramatic lighting was set up by Event Production Group (great guys to work with - I know from a groom's standpoint!)

Sherri was gorgeous in her Maggie Sottero gown and birdcage veil.

Ryan's take on all the prep a bride goes through on the wedding. I thought I'd b/w it to jump in on the joke. :)

I tweeted this image on Saturday - still one of my very favorites from the entire day - this is during their first meeting before the ceremony.

With Groove Productions providing the tunes, Sherri and Ryan had a very sweet first dance.

Talk to you soon,
