Engagement Shoot at a Castle for Natalie and Curtis

Hey everybody!

Curtis and Natalie came up with a really dreamy location for their engagement session: a castle! I didn't know this place existed, let alone that it was in Fayetteville, and I was pretty much blown away as we drove up the drive to it. Since I just photographed Natalie's brother's engagements and wedding (Jordan Stuckey, who married Kirsten), I was thrilled that she wanted something different and unique.  Here are my favorites from their engagement session.

Watson Family Fall Portraits

Hey everybody!

Today I have another one of my favorite, yearly families... the Watsons! Last year we were faced with brutal temperatures and painful winds, so when the weather forecast showed warm and sunny I couldn't have been happier! This family, which I've been shooting since I moved to Fayetteville eight or nine years ago, is one of the most fun families I know. We found a great super-leafy spot for their portraits, probably the best I've ever found! Have a look at a few of my favorites...

Jordan and Ryan's Fall Engagement Session

Hey everybody!

I always love my blog at this time of year. As you scroll the recent posts, you're hit in the face with color after gorgeous color! Well, times that by 10 for today's post because Jordan picked amazing outfits for their session! We had a lot of fun cruising around some of our prettiest locations and their peak season!

The color here - and their pose - is just about perfection!

Total sweetness!

Kali and Mike's McKinney Engagement Session

Hey everybody!

It's no secret that Mere and I spend a lot of time traveling; our clients are located all over the country, and we love being able to shoot gorgeous couples everywhere we travel! One recent trip led us to Dallas... well, McKinney actually... for Kali and Mike's engagement session.

Rarely do Mere and I hit it off so immediately as we did with these two (though we do get along with most people in the world). We met at a winery on the square and started talking before we left to shoot. I think we lost track of time and didn't start shooting for 45 minutes. It was that fun!

MAJOR Benny Backlight, y'all!

I love a couple that can rock this look. Wowwwwwww!

Maybe my favorite. Mere made an accidental inappropriate joke and I happened to be ready for it.

Gah... just beautiful!

Tressa and Ben's Fall Engagement Session

Hey everybody!

Happy Thanksgiving Eve! :) Today's couple will look familiar to you; Tressa and Ben's proposal was on the blog the day it happened, and Tressa needed a few engagement pics a couple months ago so she could get out her save the dates, but wanted her main session to be with the fall leaves here in Fayetteville (can you blame her?). They brought their pups for a few, and we shot with the amazing Fayetteville fall leaves, and then they changed (her Burberry outfit and leather pants might be my all-time favorite!) for some more urban shots.  Have a look at these!
