Woodland Hills CA Wedding of Morgan and Jon
Celebrity Spotting! American Idol winner Kris Allen is an ordained minister... did you know? Yep! He and his wife Katy (they are SO precious, y'all!) performed this wedding ceremony at Woodland Hills Country Club. So fun!
I loved Morgan's bridesmaids... her MOH, Hope (a Benny Bride!), is one of my sweetest friends and I was so happy to get to spend time with her and Brandon!
Seriously... so fun... cool... sweet.
Morgan didn't have a first look with Jon, but did have one with her daddy, which I think is totally precious. I think I'm going to bawl like a baby when I see Ellie for the first time in her wedding dress. Oh crap... I'm tearing up right now (not kidding!)
Our officiant and his wife. :) Go Kris and Katy!
The scene at the ceremony at Woodland Hills Country Club... yes! So perfect and gorgeous!
The flowers were incredible. Such a beautiful statement. I got a little teary during this ceremony - I've been getting emotional at weddings a lot lately. I absolutely love my job and what it means to be in a marriage. It's such an honor to be the one chosen to photograph such a historic event!
Katy did a little reading, which was precious, and Kris Allen performed all the main wedding rites perfectly.
So I want to end today with this shot. It looks like a portrait, but I promise this was just a moment I happened to capture by being ready and concentrating on the bride and being in the moment. Such a perfect memory.
Stay tuned for more tomorrow!
